California-born, Atlanta-based Hip Hop artist Nic Astore does most of his own heavy lifting, juggling roles from the lyric-driven MC to the eclectic, experimental producer to the thought provoking songwriter and visual artist. His resume includes songwriting credits and collaborations with many Hip Hop, R&B and Pop vocalists and song placements on MTV and tv shows such as OWN’s “Queen Sugar”. Records from his early projects like the psychedelia drenched dorm room diary debut album “The Cold Distance” and its synthy, nihilistic follow up “Illusions EP” combined to make the moody 2019 compilation “The False Present”. He independently released a string of singles in 2020 and 2021 including the ode to fatherhood “The Harvest”, the lockdown paranoia induced “The Matrix 4” , and “DOOM”, an homage to the late legend, MF DOOM. The entirely self produced album “JOINTS” was released in 2022 as well as the subsequent instrumental version of the project in 2023. His latest album "VIEJO" was released December 2023 featuring the singles "LOUD PACK", "OUTSIDE" and "THE DEPTHS"
