Blacklisted MC has recorded with a number of established artists including DMC of Run–D.M.C. Coolio Bizarre(D12), Hed PE and Kurupt among others. As a solo artists Blacklisted MC has moved slightly away from the rockier sound of previous bands and has shifted his focus towards his passion for Hip Hop, but that’s not to say his eclectic range of influences are not apparent throughout. Subject matters covered range from tongue in cheek explorations of a lifestyle of excess and politically charged social commentary to more introspective songs dealing with his own inner turmoils, all delivered with Blacklisted’s unique grittiness.
