At the young age of 25, 97BabyJay has not only created his own wave in the Detroit rap scene, but is also creating his own wave in the clothing industry with his "NBTG (Never Betray The Gang)" Clothing brand. From the West Warren/Outer Drive area of Detroit, Jay grew up already knowing he wanted to do music, making beats at the age of 13 and eventually dropping music at the age of 18. He dropped his first song " I Cant Give A Fuck" in August of 2015 under the name K.O.K.E and began building a small local buzz in Detroit with that name.
