Gilbert’s Soul is an Artist from Houston, born in Nov. His childhood was revolved around music thanks to his parents & sisters. He took art and music classes all throughout his school years. Around the age of 13 he began to write raps and was mentored by his brother in law H.U.G.O.. In 2019 he began a 6 month writing, production recording process. Working with Barron Studios engineer Jason Barton IG: @idreaminstereo. Thus creating his debut 1st album “Something In Store. In 2020 he began the process of finishing his 2nd album “Coffee Break”. This time around asking 3 new artist to tag along the ride. Dretype,H.U.G.O. And Jamie. 80% of the album was recorded at David Yera’s studio IG: @davidyera7 and engineered by Barron Studios Izzyill IG: @dj_izzyill. 2021 he began piecing together his 2022 “Manifesting-EP” project that would be engineered by IG: @davidyera7. With features from Dretype and Ronda Ylolene. January 2022 he began writing his heartbreak album “Spindletop” introducing Exzentrik, Billy Blunt, Keara Alyse. A few months later he began working on his 4th album “Mood Swings” which was also engineered by David Yera IG. Currently he has an album that has been pushed back several years that is engineered by Bruce Bang IG:imixbrucebang. His 6th album “Iridescent Skies” is his first all acoustic project. Near the end of it he turned 4 of those songs into alternative versions. There is much more in store as previously stated by his first album.
