The Daybreaks sophomore album, The Idea of You, is an inspired exploration of cinematic retro-pop, showcasing confident, perfectly blended vocal harmonies floating over a shimmering electro canvas. Since forming in 2015, The Daybreaks have been named “Nashville’s next supergroup” by respected independent radio station Lightning 100, as well as earning high praise from the Huffington Post and Paste Magazine. They've sold out shows in their hometown of Nashville and been a part of festivals and tours in the South and Midwest. Band members Kaleb Jones (guitar/vocals), Heather Bond (keytar/vocals), Bobby Holland (guitars/vocals/keys/co-producer), and Adam Bokesch (drums/co-producer) also enjoy prolific solo careers. Kaleb’s appearance on the third season of NBC’s The Sing-Off jump started a career in a cappella with the Street Corner Symphony, and his solo music’s been featured on the series finale of The Vampire Diaries. Heather Bond’s music has been featured on television shows ranging from Jane the Virgin to Sesame Street. Bobby Holland was recently nominated for a Grammy for his engineering work on Kesha’s album Rainbow, and Adam Bokesch’s solo instrumental music was showcased on Ameritrade’s ad during the 2016 Summer Olympics. Through The Idea of You, The Daybreaks modernize Tears for Fears' keyboard driven arena rock and the melodicism of late 70’s Fleetwood Mac, offering a sonically ambitious, nostalgic, and hauntingly beautiful synth-pop soundtrack. - Trevor Larkin
