ACT ON aka Lewis Acton is a 22 year old producer & DJ hailing from Nottingham. He began his career at the age of just 16 with DJing alongside the likes of Hannah Wants and Low Steppa. After leaving home in 2018, Lewis enrolled at the renowned music college, Confetti Institute Of Creative Technologies, where he honed his craft. ACT ON caught the attention of Jax Jones, who played an early bootleg of ‘Don’t Stop Movin’ in his main stage Creamfields performance. Signed by Jax Jones, ACT ON made his WUGD debut with the official release of ‘Don’t Stop Movin’ in spring of 2022, a collaboration with Jax Jones which has since received over 3.5M Spotify streams. The release achieved widespread radio airplay including BBC Radio 1, Kiss & Capital Dance and was supported by DJs including Sam Divine, Sammy Porter & Jess Bays. In 2022, ACT ON has followed his debut WUGD release with official remixes for Forever 99’ and Tieks & MNEK - Alongside a series of club edits and bootlegs which have been widely supported amongst the DJ community. On the past year, ACT ON live shows have included Ministry Of Sound (with Jax Jones) and Groovebox Festival, with upcoming shows this Summer at Ibiza Rocks, LoveJuice, Paraiso and Dream Valley (alongside Majestic, Alex Mills, Sammy Porter). Alongside his live shows, 2023 has been for new ACT ON music with releases with Spinnin’ Records and Kideko’s label Make Em’ Move, Funfair Records and his own imprint ACT ON via The Orchard.
