Yo! this is Keston. I'm a musician from the twin cities of Minnesota, and I wrote, recorded, produced, mixed and mastered the record pop'd. After trying to find my way as a song writer and a hire-on musician, the grind became meaningless and financially impractical. 3 years or dedication to others left me feeling frustrated with where I was going. I ended up writing three songs towards the end of 2018; Blac Demarco, Walking in tokyo, and All The Same. I didn't pay to much attention to them. Dropped them on band camp, and continued on the usual path of showing up for gigs, showing up to work and trying to figure out the next step. 3 weeks after tossing All the Same on bandcamp, I got an offer. Not the greatest offer in the world for sure. I ended up passing on the offer, but took the gesture as a sign to try something new. Six months later I have my first release. My production and mixing chops were all learned in that time frame by just using youtube tutorials and forums. Shouts out to the other two musicians on this record Sam Bramble (drums for Blac demarco) and Josh Johnson (sax for The Next One and Summertime). I appreciate all who listen to the record.
