Michael Valeanu is a Jazz guitarist from Paris, France. He moved to New York City in 2008 to attend the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music. In 2015, Valeanu was second runner up in the International Wes Montgomery Guitar Competition. As a (co)leader, Michael releases include : Tea Time (2012), Hard To Cook (2015), Live at Mister Rogers (2018), I’ll Be Seeing You (2020 - a duo album with vo calist Cyrille Aimee), Three of a Kind ( 2021 - with bassist Clovis Nicolas and saxophonist Jon Boutellier ), Move Your Feet ( 2023 ).
