Trying to pinpoint Myke Forte's sound is no easy feat he's very much a sum of all of his parts that being a Jamaican upbringing, a politically charged multi-cultural 80's Britain, video games, anime and a strong artistic sense of self. Musically many styles came together forming a sonic dutch pot that simmered a young mind and made Myke primed for any and all influences that provided hypnotic rhythms, heartful soul or outer-worldy escapism all within the sphere of black culture and further afield. Myke is also a cornerstone of the Louis Den Beat Battles movement, after connecting with the network in 2008 he's formed an integral part of the hiphop producer driven community which has produced a DVD magazine series and producer events which have included names such as Oddisee, Eric Lau, Houseshoes, Khrysis, Charlie Dark, FS Green, Suff Daddy and more. Myke's recent works include 2 remixes with renowned digger, and prolific DJ Chris Read & Chicago rapper Pugs Atomz released on BBE records, featured music on Samsung's latest Serif TV campaign in collaboration with HYPEBEAST, production credits on UGeorge's album 'The Many Faces of UGeorge' released on worldexpo records, part of a super conglomerate 'Soundsci' members include; lyricists Oxygen, Audessey, and Superstition. As well as producers Ollie Teeba and Jonny Cuba of The Herbalisers who released a number of successful albums for the Ninja Tune label.
