LIZA + WILLIE met in music class in High School. They both joined guitar class where they performed every concert in school. Liza and Willie became very good friends and even wrote songs together. Willie created a bachata group named "Juventud" Little did they know that's when they became High School sweethearts. Music brought them together. Liza and Willie then became musicians for bachata artist "Andy Andy". Willie was second guitar and Liza chorus singer. In 2014 they both said "Why give up? Why now". They decided not to give up on what brought them together which is, "MUSIC". So, they became Bachata duo Liza + Willie. In 2015, Liza and Willie released their Singles, “Culpables” and “Siempre” Ranking top 10 in the record pool charts. In 2016 Liza and Willie released their cover version of “Without You” also known as “Vivir Sin Tu Amor” ranking number 10 on the record pools. In 2017 they released their hit single “Perdon” having over 1 million streams on spotify. Their latest single titled "Catálogo De Amor" was featured on Grammy-nominated producer SP Polanco's bachata album "Bchta Rising", which has over 10 million streams on Spotify. In September 2022 Liza + Willie were the first Bachateros to perform at the Smithsonian Museum for the CHCI committee in Washington D.C. LIZA + WILLIE have over 5 million streams on Spotify and over 600k views on YouTube. Their first album was released on March 2023 titled “Once Upon A Time”.
