Starting off as a class project for their Studio Engineering class, RECKL3SS quickly became a collaborative effort between students of different musical and artistic backgrounds enrolled at Metalworks Institute. They have a unique approach of taking influence from many of their contemporaries of both broad and underground genres and blending them together in a seamless display of musical performance. This has become a specialty in their songwriting and overall production, which has made them one of the most unique and intriguing bands in the GTA. Fusing the stylistic qualities of polarising genres sets the band apart from their contemporaries, with strong emphasis on the subgenres of Experimental Hip-Hop, Alternative Rock, and Trap/EDM.
