After the wrap up of the 33 year long journey of internationally renowned Pakistani pop band Strings, songwriter and lead guitarist Bilal Maqsood steps into the limelight once again, now as a solo artist. Bilal has already begun making his mark on the Pakistani music industry, executively producing and co-directing the undeniably well received Velo Sound Station , a Pakistani music show that was debuted on 20 November 2020. A little over a year down the line, the singer/songwriter, producer and director is ready to make his own solo debut, thus far promising us three new singles to be released in the near future, along with other exciting projects in the works. Amongst these projects is a collection of 8 original nursery rhymes written and produced by Bilal himself, in attempts to make up for the lack of quality children’s content in the Urdu language available in Pakistan.
