KINGSOTA BORN AS (ROOSEVELT BUCKINGHAM AUSTIN) In Minneapolis Minnesota raised on the southside of the Twin Cities. KINGSOTA started listening to music at a young age, just to name a few of his favorite artists, Notorious Big, Jay-Z, and 2 Pac, Soon KINGSOTA discover that he had love and passion for music. Writing rhymes, at the young age of 9 years old, growing up in the rough parts of SouthSide Minneapolis he had a lot to talk about; from murders to drug dealing, which became second nature to him. As KINGSOTA got older he stopped writing music and indulging in what was more common for him gang banging and selling drugs. His mother, a hard working woman, working 24 hour shifts and no father figure around, KINGSOTA did what he thought was best for him and his two younger brothers. Catching a felony charge for dealing narcotics, while incarcerated KINGSOTA went back to his childhood dreams of writing music again. During this time of incarceration KINGSOTA wrote 5 mixtapes and 3 albums. Soon as KINGSOTA was released and came home he got to work. KINGSOTA has done numerous shows from opening up for celebrities like Murphy Lee of St lunatics, Lil Whyte and Project Pat from 3-6 Mafia, T-Rell, Lil Baby . In 2016-2017 KINGSOTA did 75 shows in the Twin Cities alone with some out of town shows. You’ll appreciate his work ethics. His passion for music speaks volume, drive is like no other, he's very versatile, creative, original. Determined to succeed in the music industry.
