Little Bugger blends influences from 90’s grunge and modern pop. The project of drummer/producer, Salvatore Romano. His music career started in the mid 90’s in the tri-state area(CT,NY) playing drums for a wide range of bands with influences from punk, surf rock, heavy metal and hard core. Early 2003 he left the east coast for Los Angeles where he played drums for many bands such as: Lyra ;featuring bassist Eva Gardner (The Mars Volta, Tim Burgess, Veruca Salt, Gwen Stefani, Cher, Pink) and Guitarist Mike McGill (Snake vs Wizard, VHS or Beta). The trio wrote the Move EP together and recorded with renown engineer and producer Carlos de la Garza. The bands he played drums for also include (Pop duo) Best Friends, Prints, Psychic Love, Veronica Bianqui, The Blank Tapes, Send Medicine, Brad Byrd. His previous moniker Sad Pengu, was experimental acoustic instrumentals. Some of which have been influenced by his current body of work. EP1 has influences of punk, grunge and Brit pop. Down Low EP is more acoustic driven with songs about the struggles of love and life. The latest release, Intertwined, dives into a relatable journey of love, love lost and the search for meaning.
