VickTheKid is a 23 year old upcoming artist out of New York City. His love for music, especially Hip Hop, comes from his roots. Born in Camden & raised in Brooklyn, he was introduced to Hip Hop at an early age from both cities. From there, his love for the genre became unconditional & continued to grow. According to his dad, his very first words were lyrics to “Jigga” by Ruff Ryders & Jay Z. His biggest musical influences are Lil Wayne, the late XXXTentacion & Juice WRLD, Kodak Black, NBA YoungBoy, Lil Uzi Vert, & Polo G. VickTheKid grabs influence from each of these artists, especially their emotional side. Broken homes, heartbreak, hardship, & death have left a mark in which triggers his content & motivates him as an artist. His first single “In Doubt” was released on June 26th, in memory of his late grandmother. His journey is just beginning.
