A Diamonds in the rough, none other than Montreal's newest R&B sensation who sound like none other than himself. Born of Afro-Caribbean descent and hailing from a blooming family of musicians and music KEMAR was born in Montreal and was raised in, Montreal, Philadelphia and the Caribbean. His passion for singing was develop from the young age of 5 years old when he started sing at church and family events. Since then, he has participated in many church choirs as well play the piano working along aside such Montreal gospel artist’s such as Ray Johnston and Zina Edwards as a musician and background singer. Influenced by such recording breaking artist’s such as, Aaliyah, Ne-Yo, Frank Ocean, Joe, Kelly Price, Erykah Badu and Usher, just to name of few. In the break of 2011 KEMAR decided to pursuit a solo career in spite of his love for R&B music. Forwarding to 2015 KEMAR, was discover by a talent development and management company who aided KEMAR in performing with Montreal's finest, Shahara and The Determination band, Montreal's very own K103.7 fm urban scene ambassador and Juno award judge Don Smooth and Montreal's own pioneer HipHop influencer/godfather Butcher-T, as he grace few stage over years of development. In 2018, he has opened for the likes of Davido. KEMAR released his latest EP Intuition early Spring 2023 and is working on - new music video for Distractions.
