Behind the avantgarde pop project Cebratrack we have Erica Hallström, a Swedish artist known for her unique blend of organic and electronic sounds. Those who pay careful attention may sometimes discover unusual sounds that you may not normally hear in pop music. With thought-provoking lyrics and an experimental approach to production her music often describes feelings from a different angle, exploring conflicts within ourselves. The music overturn the concepts of sanity and madness, often ending up in the darker corners of humanity. Erica herself states that “there are already more than enough talented artists out there who specialize in love and unrequited love in particular”. ​ Erica grew up in Lerdahl, outside of Rättvik in Sweden, where her passion for music and arts awakened at an early age. After moving to Stockholm she spent several years and thousands of hours immersing in the world of sound design and production. The project Cebratrack started back in 2014 with the debut ‘Expectations’ and has since then evolved into a multidimensional concept which also includes visual aspects and experimental live performances. This combined with the music converge into a peculiar and unique universe.
