Miss Macyn is a rapper originally from Chicago, IL. Her roots in the visual arts since childhood have always been riddled with hip-hop. While not taking the step to record her painting freestyles until the age of 20, her days of 8-hour painting sessions have always been filled with the likes of Kanye West, Nas, Lauryn Hill, Isaiah Rashad, Joey Bada$$, and Noname to name a few. She has always loved the classic sound and continues to be influenced by those that speak their truth. Now she merges her two worlds of her dainty painting lifestyle, where people only knew her as a soft-spoken artist, to now being able truly speak what is on her mind, unapologetically, using her voice. She hopes to approach music in a way that shows people who she is by telling her story and hopefully uplifting others to do the same.
