Over the past few decades, Paulo Lara has worn many hats: frontman of a heavy metal band in the early '90s, acclaimed singer-songwriter behind the award-winning "Better World," and the voice for the Brazilian Portuguese versions of Disney songs in animations like "Meet the Robinsons" and "Phineas & Ferb." Throughout it all, he's stayed true to his belief that music can push for social change and create a better world. Paulo's career includes the albums "La Folia" (2001), "Paulo Lara ao Vivo" (2004), and "Estrela de Mil Pontas" (2010). His influences range from Michael Jackson and Elton John to Genesis, Kate Bush, and Portugal's fado tradition, creating a sound that's uniquely his. His 2011 victory in the "Music for the Earth" contest with his song "Better World" affirmed his belief in music's power to drive change. Now, he's set to release the album "A Space of Lightning Blue," blending progressive rock and catchy pop hooks, marking a fresh chapter in his career. Grounded in themes of love, struggle, and the search for higher ground, Paulo steps into the future with creativity and authenticity. With his fearless approach, Paulo Lara is ready for whatever comes next.
