Jamal Rashaad French, Known as "J French" is an accomplished American rapper, artist, multi-instrumentalist, producer, singer, and song-writer. Born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, J French wrote his first rap at age 12, to Devin the Dude's "Don't Wait". French began rapping because of a speech impediment. J French released his first single, “Feel Like I'm on Dope”, in September 2014. His first album "Jaguar Jesus" was released in December 2016. J French released 2 singles that year, "Medicine Ball" and " Dallas". In 2018 J French released 2 albums; "OGB" and "OGB 1.5". He gained national recognition for his single "God Given", and his first BET appearance with the song “Drive” which were both on his album "OGB". In 2019 J French released a short film called "One Point 5ive". J French released his 4th album in August 2020, "JAGG" (Just Another Gift From God), which included “Cut You Off” ft. Yella Beezy, and a song with his father, Brother Num titled: “Boom”. On January 21st, 2022 J French released an album titled: “Good Karma”. “This album is so special because I had to reach so much higher to find it”, says French. His single “Breakfast” has been played in many commercials from top brands, i.e. Nike, and NFL; and tv shows like “Pass The Rock”. J French released the album, "All Love” April 14, 2023, which is a 10 track album about forgiveness. His music is also heard on BET, MTV, UFC, NFL, The Grammy's, Amazon, Sony, The Olympics, over 27 radio stations, and over 2,000 films.
