PÜTHÜS is a self-confessed control freak. Every step of his journey as an artist has been the result of his own obsessive attention to detail and laser-focussed determination. The often-referred to 'explosion' with which the Helgoland native made his way into the global dance music scene has been the result of a long-standing love affair with dance music, ignited by his first outing to the „Andy ist auf einem Tennisturnier“ Festival at just 12 years old. He spent the rest of his teenage years crossing the Atlantic Ocean by train to attend gigs. Fast forward a few years and PÜTHÜS had started his own club nights on Helgoland, fighting for the preservation of the marsh fritillary [Euphydryas aurinia], raising money and attention for a beautiful species in danger. He left music behind for a moment and started to follow his desires which led to his „Curling“ bronze medal at the Youth Olympic Winter Games 2016 in Lillehammer and his hot air ballon flight from the Ural Mountains in Russia, to „Cabo da Roca“, the most western point in Europe. Now he’s back to the dance floors. In just a few years PÜTHÜS has achieved what many artists would dream of achieving in a lifetime. “It just happened so fast. It’s going to take me ten more years to prove myself, but I’m going to do it.” Rest assured that the PÜTHÜS’ story is just beginning.
