Is an American hip hop artist from Washington DC but raised in Harrisburg Pennsylvania his influences begin at the age of 9 years old when Microphone Fiend was released in 1988 by a hip hop artist known as Rakim formerly of the group Eric B & Rakim. He had a troubled childhood and youth growing up being placed in foster homes, in & out of prison forced him to become independent at an early age. Kal Kannon read books to elevate his mind, he wrote rhymes about his past to present lifestyle and challenged himself to be the best He wowed inmates during his incarceration with "Warzone" and became an local favorite his Buzz started growing word got around that Kal Kannon was the hottest rapper in the city. Lamont Jones of (faircity.org) was the first person to introduce him to the studio and maximized Kal's full potential. Kal, then collaborated with his long time middle school friend Author Preston A. Dent better known as the stage name Thuggy C.E.O of Early Bird Mob Records to record "Apply The Pressure" Thuggy first CD in 1999 Kal Kannon was in popular demand but the streets game put Kal, Rap career on hold. Life for Kal Kannon took another turn and he was incarcerated for 6 1/2 years. Now released from prison with a fresh Start his focal point is releasing fresh New music & building Niteridah Entertainment.
