MESSIAH moved from Santiago, Dominican Republic, to Harlem when he was just 2 years old. Messiah grew up in a musical family in which both his grandmother and his father were singers and from whom he inherited an admiration for artists such as José José, Raphael, and Sandro de América. After moving to Harlem, Messiah soon discovered his passion for Hip-Hop. Since the release of his first mixtape titled ‘Ya Era Tiempo - Volume 1’ Messiah has been unstoppable. Per Genius, Messiah stands above the rest as the pioneer who first bridged Latin America’s reggaeton and America’s trap into - Latin trap. Messiah is the first Latino rapper in NY to fill Stage 48 and play MSG three consecutive times in one year. In 2017, he was featured on the Latin remix of Cardi B’s ‘Bodak Yellow’ raking in over 10 million streams on Spotify. According to VIBE magazine, Messiah’s growth and great influence "has helped open the way for future bi-cultural urban artists and their public acceptance.” He has attracted the attention of artists in both markets such as 50 Cent & Jay Z and has also collaborated with J Balvin, J Alvarez, Daddy Yankee, Nicky Jam, Zion & Lennox, Bad Bunny & Farruko among others
