Since the release of “It’s All the Same” in 2022 on DTL Records, Jovani has been carving his name in San Francisco nightlife. Alongside producing music and DJing, the Bay Area native started CONNECT, a monthly techno series at F8. Ranging from local legend Direct to Earth to the hypnotic grooves of Nektar and Factory 93’s Shay de Castro, the new monthly is a movement making waves in the SF scene. Having played at iconic clubs such as Halcyon and Monarch, it’s no surprise the Bay Area native has opened for such heavy hitters as Pig & Dan, Odesza, Golden Features, Honey Dijon, Randomer, Bloody Mary, and Shay De Castro. Jovani's latest EP, “System Update” on Oxytech Records, combines his passion for techno and acid with its dark rolling basslines and groovy percussions. With support from Shay De Castro, Spin and Destroy, and Direct to Earth the EP perfectly showcases the sound people rush to the dance floor for, a sound that’s JustJovani.
