Bassist, Rhymer, Producer, Instrumentalist Chris Bass has been doing his thing hidden in the sub-frequency since the early days of Australian hip-hop. He has produced for MC Reason, Hilltop Hoods, Social Change, Headstrong Company, Soundbombers, Defenders, Staen1, Cross Bred Mongrels and more. A member of conscious hip-hop group Defenders with Flak and turntable wiz/DMC champ DJ Snair, Chris joined the infamous Crackhouse Crew (Mindfield, dL, Chris Bass, Headstrong Company, DJ Sanchez, Jekl and Integer1 and DJ Jugular of After House) performing with his group Soundbombers and crushing solo shows with DJ dL. In 2011 he released the solo LP Monster and as part of record label dOgbOx studios, Chris Bass is now releasing his extensive back catalog from mixtapes & guest appearances as well as new material the first of which is The River with a beat produced by Ciecmate of the Hospice Crew/BTE/Chess Sounds.
