Moments after having your hands in the air, you will find yourself bobbing your head uncontrollably, lost in the synths, stabs, and drums that make up a Dennis Lysenko tune. The Los Angeles-based producer made his debut on Premier League Recordings with a remix of Liftchain’s ‘Metamorphosis’. Dennis followed up on Alter Ego Records with ‘Relic’, an emotive tune paying homage to his classic trance roots, then a stunning dancefloor double salvo, ‘The Spark / Puppeteer’, with thumping and gritty beats and out-of-left-field drops sandwiching huge anthemic trance breakdowns that would leave any listener stunned. These were followed by a quickfire double in January 2022: First, Dennis released a two-track dark trance EP called ‘Retribution’, an exploration of juxtaposition. He almost instantly followed this up with a gorgeous, mood-lifting vocal remix of ‘Carry Me Away’, featuring the stunning vocals of Diana Leah.
