Biography

Chicago-based underground emcee Bob Rok nicknamed the “Blue-Collar Bandit” is a vibrant voice in the Chicago hip-hop scene. His thoughtful often political lyrics shed light on the working class struggles of Americans. Bob got his start at open mics and DIY art spaces across the city. Earning acclaim and recognition within the scene, Bob opened for Saul Williams at the Kinetic playground in 2012. The same year he released his first debut album “Poverty In Color”. This lead to his radio debut on Vocalo and multiple appearances on NPR’s “Morning Drive”
