Galo Gordo is one of the most significant artistic projects for children in Portugal. It has four books and CD published and several concerts held in auditoriums and schools throughout the country, and is referenced by the National Reading Plan and the Reading House of the Gulbenkian Foundation, and acclaimed by the educational community (parents, educators and teachers) . Following the last two works, "Poemas e canções para todo o ano" (2009) and "Este dia vale a pena" (2012), the authors present in this new book and CD "O Mundo é redondo" (2015) a set of new songs that deal with themes related to the daily life of children and parents. The new book and CD features the illustrations of Cristina Sampaio. Inês Pupo and Gonçalo Pratas were distinguished in 2012 with the SPA / RTP award for Best Children's Book.
