EldoradoBlaze is a multimedia entertainer from “The Port City” Wilmington, North Carolina. Born April 10, 1980, Lamar Wheeler was introduced to hip hop firsthand in 1988 when a relative from Newark, New Jersey moved down and started rapping with a neighborhood deejay allowing young EldoradoBlaze to follow them around. He carried crates and watched in amazement as his relative who called himself The Poet wrote rhymes and performed them over a microphone. It sparked a passion that led to the artist now known as EldoradoBlaze, a versatile rhyme schemer with a timeless flow. His music is full of experiences with a vibe that captures the essence of coastal Carolina streets, what he refers to as the “Salt Life”: Beaches, exotic women, cars, clothes, drugs and guns, sex and violence.
