Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, D'NME forged his path amidst a lack of local support and the challenges faced by an aspiring rapper. Fuelled by his relentless pursuit of success, he dropped out of high school in grade 11 to fully commit to his craft. Naming himself "D'NME" (pronounced Dee-Enemy), he boldly reflects on the adversity and hate he encountered as he embarked on his rap journey. In 2007, D'NME released his debut mixtape, "The Death Of Me," which didn't receive local recognition. Undeterred, he persevered and focused on honing his skills as an MC. His dedication paid off, leading to collaborations with renowned American DJs such as the late DJ Whiteowl, DJ Smallz, DJ Green Lantern, and DJ Drama. D'NME's music also found its way onto various mixtapes, further expanding his reach and solidifying his reputation. Notably, he has often proclaimed himself to be the best rapper, highlighting his self-assurance. D'NME's notable achievements include being the first Canadian rapper to secure "Freestyle Of The Week" on Doghouse Radio in the Bronx, NY. He has also been featured on renowned platforms such as Thisis50, Sway In The Morning on Shade45, and Power 105.1. D'NME's music has generated over 1.2 million streams on Spotify. Songs like "Bad AF," “Raw,” and "Winning At The Races" played a pivotal role in his rise to recognition. D'NME proves that true talent knows no bounds, achieving remarkable milestones without compromising his artistic integrity.
