Swedish artist OSKAR HUMLEBO, aka MOTO BOY, has been called “the romantic with the incomparable voice” and is doubtlessly one of the most unique and original Swedish artists and vocalists of his generation. When MOTO BOY appeared on the music scene with his self-titled debut album in 2008, his evocative vocals and self-evident charisma left few untouched. He has opened for artists such as WHITNEY HOUSTON, SMASHING PUMPKINS and SUEDE, collaborated with NINA PERSSON (The Cardigans), PETRA MARKLUND (September) and CHRISTIAN EIGNER (Depeche Mode) among others. A true multi-talent he has been performing with numerous symphonic orchestras, held roles in operas and theatre, scored music for film and theatre, written and produced music for other artists and toured much of the world with concerts. Since 2012 he has also been seen as the guitarist with Swedish pop legends THE CARDIGANS, and before that he had a run as guitarist with Swedish glam rock band THE ARK. But the backbone in MOTO BOY’s work has been his albums. Always the DIY he has written, produced and released 5 albums, the latest in 2019 in his mother tongue Swedish. December 2023 saw the release of the first single from the highly anticipated upcoming full length album scheduled for release in spring 2024. A true indie artist and a brilliant rough cut gem with a global and very loyal albeit small following, MOTO BOY is perhaps Sweden’s best kept secret.
