July is a British songwriter and producer with a unique and global outlook on sexuality, politics and mental health. Her richly diverse views on gay culture + mental health has had a huge impact on her musical and personal journey. July moved out of Slovenia when she was 16 years old to pursue her studies in jazz vocals and quickly transitioned into the life of a pop star. She’s written for artists such as BTS, Mae Muller, Lauren Sanderson, Naughty boy, 1991, 99 souls, Nasty Cherry, Brooke Candy, Girli and Zolita. While writing and producing for other artists, July is currently focusing on her mixtape titled Silly Little Dream, part 1 of which was released in 2022, and part 2 is on track to release in 2023. She is very proud of her roots and wants to be a role model for younger people coming out of Eastern Europe, showing them that you can be whoever you want to be in life. At her heart, July is a true and very real artist, inspired by everything around her - people, anxiety, the queer community, and everything in between. She is open to everything and places diversity at the heart of what she does. In doing so, she makes music with the aim of pushing her artistry forwards at all times.
