Umberto Forni, bolognese, graduated in organ and harpsichord, performed as a soloist in hundreds of concerts in many European countries. He recorded for Tactus conducting the Cappella Musicale in Santa Barbara in Mantua (www.antegnatisantabarbara.it). He wrote several essays about organs and he serves as a jury member in many competitions. Umberto Forni had been teaching organ at the conservatory in Verona for 40 years, he is currently appointed as the regular master player of the beautiful organ in S. Maria in Organo in the same city and honorary inspector for the protection of artistic organs in Veneto.
