The JVP is an Italian Jazz/Fusion band, their first album, Travelin', was released on March, 2020, with all original compositions. Actually the musicians are: Danilo Gambardella (piano, keyboards), Bruno Pantalone (electric bass), Alessandro Picucci (drums). History: The JVP Project was born in 2010 and a lot of great musicians collaborated since that time. The initial aim was to narrate the jazz history by playing the standards and collecting facts and stories about the period when the songs were composed and about the composers themselves. The actual band has in its repertoire original songs with different styles: latin jazz, funky, swing, jazz fusion, with some personal interpretations of songs from Wayne Shorter , Kenny Wheeler, Michel Petrucciani, Herbie Hancock, Roy Hargrove, Dave Samuels, George Duke, Brian Bromberg, Jeff Lorber, Michel Camilo, Mark Levine, Oscar Hernandez and many others... without forgetting to transform the greatest classics into standards... good music doesn't have boundaries...
