Chattanooga native Marc Bishop, whose real name is Marcus Berry brings an emotional but lyrical element to his music. The inspiration comes from the trials and tribulations from his upbringing to his daily battles. Being bullied, fatherless, dealing with depression and taking meds as teen, Marc Bishop was always searching for peace and love within others but also within himself. Due to the troubles he faced, he began drawing pictures. Later, writing poetry around the age of thirteen. His love for writing grew as he listened to different types of music that influenced him enough to want to write music himself. He was influenced by rock, r and b, rap, pop, and classical music but did not have many people to relate to his musical taste until high school. Fast forward to the present, Marc Bishop is still searching for that peace of mind in hopes with his music, he can achieve but also become able to help someone else with his music. In May 4, 2018, Bishop released an EP titled BE OK in hopes for his dream to help others move forward. Currently working on another full length project titled A MOTH'S THEORY, Bishop continues on his journey of peace with his label mate and friend Thonio on their road to a career in music.
