The Berlin artist Anna-Marlene Bicking, who studied chemistry, singing and film composition, is now brewing her next cocktail of music. The winner of the GEMA Music Author’s Prize 2018 and the composition funding award 2020 writes her own songs and lyrics and in doing so, invents new worlds of sounds. These are reminiscent of film music and could be referred to as cinematic pop. The allrounder also does arrangements and music production of her and other artists' songs and plays the piano.
