Nilez is a UK born rapper, songwriter, musician, producer and actor with a Barbadian heritage. He grew up in SouthEast London immersed in a strong Caribbean and blackbritish culture. His affection for music began from a very young age with a love for guitar and piano which continued through his schools years as a guitarist. Since the early ages of 8 years old he developed a fascination with rap artist Jay Z. Throughout growing up he was heavily influenced by American hiphop and ukrap. Inspired by the likes of various artists from Jayz & Jcole to Dave & cadet. An artist of many talents, he is an accomplished actor, writer, musician and rapper; he is keen to connect to his fans through his realness and vulnerability. His messages and a points of view are deeply linked to his own experiences and those of his peers.
