God, Art, Education– I spend my life’s energy focusing on these areas, so essentially this is who I am. My name is Darius Baldwin. My stage name is DeLMnT (Day•Luh•Mont.) This February marks my 31st trip around the sun. I was born in Saginaw, Michigan into the golden sunset of my city’s history. As years progressed, a mass exodus brought a slow sort of death to my home town. Witnessing it became a sober source of inspiration, drive, and apathy. During these down years I discovered a true love for Hip-Hop. Fighting to sharpen my bars, finish art school, and escape the cloud hovering over my city, I emerged victorious in a foriegn land. Husband, father, emcee– I'm blessed to make a good living as an artist and high school educator in Prince George’s County, Maryland.
