Ghanaian super producer and artist Dredw is undeniably one of the fast rising DJ/Producers in Ghana. Working with acts in the country and beyond, Dredw is slowing cementing a place in the industry either on your radio or featured playlists. Born Winfred Ametepe in Accra - Ghana, Dredw started making beats as a hobby but turned professional and since not looked back, working with artistes and producers such as Mr Eazi E.L, Yaa Pono, Pappy Kojo, Richie Mensah, Edem, Magnom, Juls and more. 2021 has seen Dredw go hard, with major productions credits on Pappy Kojo Logos II album, taking him a step closer to being amongst the best. The last year saw Dredw make his debut on radio as a DJ, with spots on fast rising UK radio NoSignal, making him the next export after amazing acts like Juls and GuiltyBeatz. As a solo artist, Dredw has gained some good recognition with many songs released in his name like smash single Mariama featuring Yaa Pono and Talaat Yarky. "I'm inspired by the thoughts of how far I can take music. Just thinking about where this music can take me to," Dredw says. Even as the emphasis is on beats, melody and vibe, the producer has managed to work on movie sounds and his recent accomplishment is with the movie "Gold Coast Lounge" by award-winning Ghanaian director Pascal AKA. Now, Dredw is searching further afield. With a constantly evolving sonic-offering and several collaborations, the beatmaker has his eye firmly on bigger things and foreign markets.
