Bomarr is a multi-talented artist who grew up in New Hampshire. He honed his skills in the Bay Area before moving to New York's East Village, starting a family, and then moving back West, now residing in Long Beach, CA. Bomarr began playing drums at the age of 7 and has since built a diverse portfolio of skills and experience in the music industry. He has worked as a radio DJ, record store worker, and at record labels, digital music distributors, and physical music distributors. He has also remixed bands like of Montreal , Grizzly Bear, and Soviet, and is 1/3rd of the anticon weirdo synth rap group Restiform Bodies with Passage and Telephone Jim Jesus. The group formed in the late 1990s and quickly made a name for themselves in the underground music scene, touring the world and sharing the stage with acts like Animal Collective and Arcade Fire. In addition to his work with Restiform Bodies and his solo work, he is also half of the improv duo Bat Rays. As a DJ and compilation curator, Bomarr has been able to showcase his eclectic taste in music and his ability to bring together different sounds and styles. Bomarr is also known for his work as a video collage artist and visual artist. He has collaborated with a variety of artists such as N8NOFACE, Mestizo, Zackey Force Funk, Tarsier, Circus (The Shape Shifters), and Ellay Khule (Project Blowed). He is also an oddball Christmas aficionado, having released 13+ volumes of Wild Xmas with Bomarr compilations.
