The Soweto Gauteng artist MoPhunk has established himself as one of the most essential rappers, producers, Hip-Hop artist and un-boxed artist as he contains a raw nineties style that he blends with melodies, singing and poetry more so creating a breath of fresh air and new genre and style which cannot be boxed in. The founder of Soweto based Obfuscate Gratuitous Killer Kat Klan. Since he started releasing music in 2013, he has released over eight projects including albums, mixtapes and EP's which has included mostly Soweto based artists and a few in Johannesburg. In his career MoPhunk has been solo driven at most, but also collaborative too. Where he uses his solo projects to find himself and collaborates to expand his knowledge and insight, and uses that for his identity.
