Native to PG County, Maryland, JAH grew up influenced by all types of music and easily applied that of his influences to his own rap career. Raised in a full household, he listened to many forms of HipHop/Rap, R&B/Soul, Blues, Jazz, Go-Go and much more. Though all of this made up a larger portion of his childhood, HipHop always held a special place in his soul. When he was only eight years old he heard Kanye West's album, "The College Dropout", and was hooked. In following years he honed his skills and in 2015 began producing his own instrumentals as well as beginning to post various freestyles online. JAH went on to release his first serious project in 2019 titled "BLK Chapter 1" following the tragic loss of his first child which was only the start of a long road ahead. Using his losses as fuel, JAH has released multiple projects that have been placed on many 'favorites' lists and has been more than the topic of conversation for many consumers.
