Paul Askew's journey started from childhood under the tutelage of his mother who was a singer, participating in community choirs and productions. Paul's favorite musical influences include artists like Brandy, Carl Thomas, Giveon, Usher, Jazmine Sullivan, The Clark Sisters, Smokie Norful, Leandria Johnson, Beyonce Whitney Houston, Luther Vandross and Stevie Wonder. Though his style goes beyond categorization of genres, he loves music. 
 After a decade of depression, substance addiction, several suicidal attempts, physical disability and the loss of his mother, Paul acknowledges a revival in spirit to get back into music. 2021 was his Revival. Being the First Artist signed under his own Recording Label, PaulPaul Music, Paul is holding nothing back in sharing with the World his transparency, heart and soul through his love of God, people and Life. In May 2022 Paul’s first single “Save Me” hit number 1 on Billboard Gospel Internet Charts. The album Book of Paul also is being considered for Grammy For Best Gospel Artist 
 Outside of his musical endeavors, Paul has curated a collection of clothing for men with Designer David Mando based In Nigeria King Paul Askew Collection. He has a signature line of all natural holistic products that nourish and revitalize the skin, hair, and body with its called KingPaul which contains beard oils, body wash, body butter and fragrance hair oil for men.
