Biography

One of your favorite rappers’ favorite rappers, Emilio Rojas cut his teeth as a young artist in New York and has spent the last decade making a career as one of the sharpest lyricists in hip-hop. As a Venezuelan-American, Rojas has consistently showcased his ability to be a voice for a massive and underrepresented group. Through both his personal storytelling and unique social and cultural observations, he has earned more than 100 million streams across music platforms and has received praise from hip hop legends like Rick Ross, Sway, DJ Green Lantern, to name a few. Emilio and his sisters were raised by their mother in a single parent household in Rochester, New York. His father, an immigrant from Caracas, Venezuela, was absent for most of their childhood. You don’t just hear Emilio’s music, you live through it with him. Every trauma, every triumph, every moment of self-doubt, and every instance of unwavering conviction make the listener feel as if they’re experiencing it all in real time. Throughout his career, Emilio has consistently delivered quality releases and collaborations with Wale, Macklemore, B.O.B., Styles P, Yelawolf, Joe Budden, and Joell Ortiz among others. With four world tours under his belt, Rojas is slated for a massive 2023 coming off the release of his mixtape, “Grip Tape” in July and with “Breaking Point 2”, the follow up to his critically acclaimed “Breaking Point” mixtape hitting streaming platforms in 2023.
