As a child, Australian-born songwriter, composer and producer Jason Chan was surrounded by family who loved playing instruments, singing, dancing and listening to music. There he started developing an early appreciation and love for a wide genre of music. At around the age of twelve years old Jason started to experiment with digital music composition, and lyric writing, learned to play the clarinet, and tenor saxophone and started tinkering with the piano and midi keyboards. Four years later during his senior high school years, Jason had composed his first commercial soundtrack for a locally developed computer game as well as submitted an original composition for his high school final musical piece. Jason had always believed music is one of the world's best mediums that can break boundaries, bring people together, help with healing, provide hope, send important messages and touch people's hearts. He is also a true believer in collaboration and that there are millions of people with hidden musical talent around the world. In late 2019, Jason started an experiment to expand his knowledge about the process of songwriting and producing by purposely working with musicians from different parts of the world. During his experiment, he was also exposed to many genres including Pop, Alternative, EDM, R&B, Trap, Future Bass, Indie Folk, Country, Dreampop and more.
