I was born in the heart of New York in the early 80s to a hardworking Bangladeshi family...a father that dedicated his life to provide for his family, a mother that held us together with love and care and a brother and two sisters who took care of everything in between! A little brown boy growing up in that part of Brooklyn, in the 80s, wasn’t a walk in your neighborhood park! The drugs, the crime, the negativity consumed you if you weren’t vigilant! When I didn’t belong to anything or anyone else...I belonged to the love of hip hop and it belonged with me! And so that 16 year old boy on that stage nervously doing his first free style took his passion to a studio ! ....The rest is history! Fast forward to many years later..many albums later...countless collaborations later Along with i-Sick, Stave Sonata and Banggully the entire Blazin Annex family, allow me, Ah-Murda, to reintroduce myself! The product of many sacrifices, countless restless nights...opportunities and disappointments...love and also hate...but regardless always true to my art! I invite all of you to Join me on this journey as we move forward to unite as many cultures and languages as we possibly can to the world of hip hop!
