Stepdadfla is an energetic, charismatic South Florida based hip hop artist, aka Sean Abel. In 2016 he showed his distinction from the pack with his first EP “Out Here Regardless” containing colorful bars and humorous punchlines on topics from foot fetishes to fine dining. He then released a single with production by Big Lo$ followed by help from Palm Beach’s Diablo, all leading up to his forthcoming album “Business as Usual.” Between activity on social media and local performances, Stepdadfla begins to show signs of promise in South Florida. With the help of engineer/producer VENCE, Stepdadfla then released his project “Thriving in Hell.” Upbeat singles like the Riff Raff assisted “Pineapples” with a few outlandish videos sprinkled in, more opportunities arise. The end of 2018 included a SXSW performance, leading to an early 2019 east coast tour and an effervescent Rolling Loud Miami performance. In 2020 he continues to drop monthly singles, building his portfolio. In an industry driven by short lived artists and a thirst for clout, Stepdadfla has stayed consistent, cultivating longevity.
