Demetris Mesimeris is a singer-songwriter born in Cyprus, whose music combines elements from the urban Greek folk tradition, Middle Eastern and cypriot music, updated with a fresh take on orchestration. His first release in 2014 was the single Eikona Dihos Hroma. Continual gigs and concerts over the last couple of years, collaborations with significant artists from the Greek music scene. In 2020, he released the LP album Eho Tou Kosmou Poiimata. A collection of ten songs; ten poems about life, love and the concerns of each day - a journey that has love as its compass. Production and orchestration comes courtesy of the renowned Fotis Siotas, who has countless credits on Greece’s most-loved indie albums of the millennium. His first live concert album Zontani Ihografisi was released in January 2021 with some of his favorite songs from various artists as well his own. In June of the same year, the single Epivatis was released, the soundtrack of the travel television show Travel Passenger with Marios Priamos. September 2021, he released the single Hartino Kouti. In 2022, Mesimeris released the single Trikymia featuring Pantelis Thalassinos. Also in the same year, he released the cypriot song Erotisa for the latest album of Mihalis Violaris. In 2023, he released Chrysomallousa. In 2024, Maistros released announcing the upcoming album Tik Tak.
