Haf n’ haf is a hip hop artist born and raised in the west end of Toronto, Canada. He is of biracial descent, having a white Irish mother and a black Guyanese father, which is one of the origins of his stage name. His love for music blossomed at age 3 when his father introduced him to artists like the Wu-Tang Clan, Bob Marley and Slick Rick. He started songwriting at 11 years old and began performing original songs at school talent shows and assemblies in his elementary school not long after. He has opened for major artists including JPEGMAFIA, The Pharcyde and Jack Harlow. His music has been featured on 89.5FM CIUT, FLOW 93.5FM and multiple shows on CBC's 99.1FM. The Etobicoke native’s sound is heavily influenced by jazz music which he soulfully and effortlessly infuses into his production and vocal style. His laidback cadence, clever wordplay, true to life lyricism and endless variety of flows are a testament to his dedication to his craft and continuous effort to progress as a writer.
