Multi-instrumentalist Josh Van Wey’s genre-bending vibes are always flowing, thanks to the local encouragement he received after moving to Tennessee in 2022. That encouragement inspired him to begin recording, layering, and releasing his everyday noodling as songs. 
Josh's innate lifelong curiosity led him on a spiritual exploration of genre authenticity and connection. Starting with imitating TV jingles when he was 5, he later used recording and collaborating with artists in Dallas to nurture his creativity. That experience inspired his own minimalist home recording setup that allows him to participate in remote writing and tracking sessions today. 
When he’s not making music you can find him shooting photos, paddle boarding, or riding his motorcycle through the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
